The Unicus® Dynamic Heat Exchangers are the ideal solution for the treatment of viscous products with a fouling tendency which must be heated with steam such as the so called "Black Liquor".
The major advantage of the Unicus® Dynamic Heat Exchanger is that it always stays clean even when high pressure/high temperature steam is used because the dynamic elements contained within the tubes continuously clean the internal heat transfer surfaces. Because of this it is no longer necessary to stop the plant and lose production as is the case with smooth tube shell and tube heat exchangers, spiral heat exchangers and others.
